Brian Davis hails from London and turned professional in 1994. 10 years later, he became the first Englishman to win the PGA TOUR Qualifying School finals. In April 2010 Davis called a two-stroke penalty on himself on the first play-off hole on Sunday to hand Jim Furyk a victory at the Verizon Heritage. Davis later received much praise for his decision which cost him his maiden PGA Tour victory. As a skin cancer survivor, Brian is an ambassador to the Skin Cancer Foundation and hopes to educate people about the dangers of the sun and how prevention rather than cure can make a difference in helping people maintain their health.
